Job Description

The Customer Service Operations Coordinator is responsible for project management and providing administrative, tactical and analytical support to the Customer Service Operations Team. They are expected to consistently build positive relationships with cross functional departments that support Vendor Management and the Site Management teams, while displaying a positive attitude, enthusiasm for the job and excellent interpersonal skills. He/She will demonstrate superior skills related to the core competencies of Focus on the Guest, Working Together, Drive for Results, Communication, Adapt and Learn, and Problem Solving. The Customer Service Operations Coordinator reports to the Reporting Analyst Asst. Manager.


  • Provide gatekeeper and Application Security Officer (ASO) responsibilities for the all Customer Service Systems and Technology

  • Assist with financial management of the Customer Service department

  • Perform administrative coverage and support

  • Perform vendor expense and responsibility research

  • Develop project related documentation for Customer Service

  • Provide administrative assistance to the Customer Service and Contact Center Operations Management team

Required Qualifications:

  • Guest Focused - willing to assist fellow team members with Systems and Login Credentials

  • Self-motivator

  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks as well as contribute to the overall Customer Service operations team

  • Strong attention to detail along with demonstrated organizational and administrative skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a focus on telephone and email communication

  • Possess a strong working knowledge of "R"Us computer systems

  • Problem solving skills

  • Possess a high degree of interpersonal skills with an outgoing, friendly, pleasant personality that represents the "R"Us brand and Guest service philosophy

  • Ability to work in SharePoint

  • Strong written communication skills

  • Strong analytical skills with experience using MS-Excel, MS-Access, Powerpoint, Outlook

Education Requirements (Preferred):

  • Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts Degree
