Job Description

The Specialty Retail Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and managing multiple aspects of Specialty Retail store operations, primarily the opening and closing processes associated with these locations – Outlet and temporary Express locations. This includes the planning, execution, follow-up, and communication with multiple cross functional business partners to ensure Specialty Retail business objectives are met.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage all aspects of the store opening process and systemic store set up, completing 20 set up tasks on the store opening timeline

  • Liaise with business partners to ensure seamless store opening execution

  • Manage the Critical Path project plan follow up for all new stores, including big box stores

  • Provide daily/weekly sales reporting

  • Maintain and update Standards of Excellence documents

  • Partner with Store Promotions, Merchants, Creative and Marketing teams to ensure flawless execution and customer satisfaction of all promotions and ads

  • Analysis and Marketplace reporting on coupon use/redemptions, petty cash and P-card spending

  • Impact Planner creation and follow up

  • Assist in the temporary Express store closing tasks, including follow up on employee file and inventory transfers

  • Create and administer Store surveys

  • Additional ad-hoc projects may be assigned by Manager

Qualifications:

  • Ability to manage multiple, strict deadlines and priorities

  • Ability to organize and coordinate multi-store operations

  • Ability to collaborate and develop strong business partnerships with cross functional teams

  • Highly motivated individual who can work independently, as well as with business partners

  • Strong, independent decision making skills

  • Process improvement with problem solving thought processes

  • Flexibility; comfortable working in “grey” areas that are constantly changing

  • Excellent time management skills

  • Excellent communication skills

Required:

  • Associate Degree required, Bachelor’s Degree preferred

  • 3-5 years Corporate Retail experience

  • Flexible work schedule

  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills

  • Detail and results oriented
