Job Description

The Capital Management team is responsible for worldwide capital approvals and providing the appropriate information to senior management to ensure sound financial investments. A senior financial analyst role is critical to supporting these objectives.

Specific Responsibilities include:

  • Partner with the business units (domestic and international) to build and analyze financial and operational information to support capital proposals.

  • Perform financial analyses that focus on assisting management in understanding project performance, capital needs, company-wide capital plans and other projects. Financial analysis will include:

  • Preparing and evaluating DCF analysis to evaluate proposals, including growth and maintenance projects

  • Developing or evaluating key assumptions used in analysis

  • Developing or refining sales and margin forecasting methodologies

  • Producing post mortem analysis on previously completed projects

  • Other ad hoc analyses for senior management

  • Create new reports focused on post-audit analyses of new store performance versus original assumptions.

  • Create models, analyze performance metrics, and develop and compile various financial and statistical reports that focus on individual store, company performance and ad hoc analysis.

  • Reconcile and analyze financial data by understanding formulas and lower level data.

  • Compile and develop reports using multiple data sources.

  • Support other projects to help support the capital management controls.

  • Manage the capital budget and project approvals.

  • Additional responsibilities will include the following: maintaining the monthly and annual capital actuals/projections, updating schedules to support the accounting and financial reporting process, and developing presentations for Senior Management/Board of Directors.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance. MBA preferred.

  • 3-5 years of related experience in corporate finance.

  • Advanced Excel modeling skills. Experience with Outlooksoft, R Reports and/or Access is a plus.

  • Ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects with varying deadlines.

  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills with the ability to draw conclusions from analysis.

  • Ability to work well with individuals throughout the organization.

  • Highly organized and capable of working independently.
