Job Description

The TRU Supply Chain application team is looking for a Technical Analyst with the ability to maintain, troubleshoot and develop solutions through most of our supply chain applications. The candidate should have the ability to interact with the business and be able to lead small projects using standard project management methods. The associate should be able to produce both technical documents and business system designs. Communication with the business and the IT team is critical for both day-to-day events and building out new solutions. This particular candidate will play a key role in the area of replenishment, forecasting and supply chain planning. Overall the role will be targeted at systems that support predicting, executing and management of all products that moves between the vendors, distribution centers and stores.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing and supporting the replenishment and allocations systems at TRU

  • Engage with Application/Support/Maintenance team during events with clear communication.

  • Develop opportunities to improve both the systems business process flow and technical efficiencies.

  • Lead smaller projects that impacting the supply chain

  • Adapt to select critical roles on major projects.

  • Be able to support the business and recommend/provide efficient solutions to business challenges.

  • Create recommended approaches to optimize/tune systems performance.

  • Be able to produce both system and technical documentation supporting the supply chain.

  • Work with other IT teams along with business teams to deliver business solutions

Qualifications:

  • Strong SQL skills on Teradata Databases

  • Teradata utilities and associate capabilities

  • Teradata DCM experience a plus

  • Linux scripting

  • Strong communication and written skills

  • At least 1 years’ experience with development, testing and deployment of IT solutions.

  • At least 1 years’ experience working with the business and creating design documents.

  • Supply chain knowledge a plus.
